TOKYO\u2014MOL Logistics Japan Co., Ltd. (MLG; President: Osamu Sakurada) today announced that effective September 18, its subsidiary in Vietnam, MOL Logistics (Vietnam) Inc. (MLG Vietnam), has invested in Toan Phat Logistics Joint Stock Company (TPL), which operates a refrigerated warehouse in Tay Ninh Province, southern Vietnam.<\/p>\n

\nThe warehouse is located in the Mekong Delta region, where agricultural production thrives. It offers excellent access to Ho Chi Minh City\u2014Vietnam’s economic hub\u2014Tan Son Nhat International Airport, and international ports such as Long An Port, making it an extremely convenient location for international logistics.<\/p>\n

On the adjacent site, Toan Phat Irradiation Co., Ltd. (TPI)\u2014which holds a 10% stake in TPL\u2014offers irradiation sterilization services, enabling integrated solutions including pre-export storage. The warehouse has also obtained Halal certification(Note)giving it a competitive edge in exports to Islamic countries.<\/p>\n

MLG Vietnam was established in November 2005 and now operates 17 locations, including its headquarters in Ho Chi Minh City and a branch in Hanoi. It provides a broad range of logistics services, such as air and ocean freight, land transport, warehousing, and overseas removal.<\/p>\n

Through its investment in TPL, MLG Vietnam has established a system that combines its existing transport network with refrigerated storage capabilities, enabling it to meet the growing demand for cold chain logistics within Vietnam. This integration allows MLG Vietnam to address diverse international transport needs\u2014primarily for agricultural and marine products\u2014while contributing to the strengthening of Vietnam\u2019s logistics infrastructure.<\/p>\n

MLG will continue helping customers meet their diverse challenges, while enhancing service quality as a trusted logistics partner by proposing and delivering optimal logistics solutions.<\/p>\n
