International Ocean Freight
Stable ocean transport supported by the MOL Group network
MOL Logistics is a carrier-affiliated forwarder (NVOCC) backed by the global network of the world-leading Mitsui O.S.K. Lines (MOL) Group. Leveraging our extensive network of offices worldwide and the advanced expertise cultivated through decades of transport experience, we provide highly reliable international ocean freight services.
In addition to the strong space-allocation capabilities unique to a carrier-affiliated forwarder, we continuously monitor the latest market trends, port conditions, and operational status in real time. Rather than simply executing shipments, we offer strategic routing and cost-optimization proposals aligned with current market conditions to deliver the most valuable solutions for our customers.
Our service line-up includes not only full container (FCL) transport for large-volume cargo, but also a robust in-house LCL (small volume consolidated cargo) service connecting major regions worldwide, enabling flexible arrangements tailored to shipment size. With a fully integrated "door-to-end" transport structure ---from pickup to final delivery---we provide comprehensive support, including complex trade procedures. In the rapidly evolving world of international logistics, we strive to be a trusted partner that strengthens and stabilizes our customers' supply chains through reliable information and execution capabilities.

SERVICE
MLG's LCL (small-lot consolidation) service
We provide LCL (ocean small-lot consolidation) services worldwide. In Tokyo, Yokohama, Kobe, Osaka and Hong Kong, we are developing in-house LCL consolidation services for major Asian ports. By utilizing direct service, we are able to achieve both stable schedules and competitive freight rates, and realize planned and easy-to-use ocean transportation even for small-lot shipments.
FCL (containerized cargo) transportation
Utilizing our worldwide network, we provide integrated FCL transportation services from securing shipping space to customs clearance and inland transportation. In addition to 20 ft and 40 ft containers, we can also handle refrigerated containers (reefers) and special containers. Based on cargo characteristics and transportation conditions, we propose the most appropriate transportation route, carrier, and schedule.
Intermodal Transport
We offer a variety of multimodal transport options to address space constraints on vessels, provide emergency responses during port congestion, and implement BCPs in the event of a disaster. By flexibly combining RORO ships, ferries, railways and trucks, we can quickly design and propose alternative routes according to the situation. We support both stable transportation and reduced environmental impact through modal shifts.
Buyer's Consolidation
We offer a buyer's consolidation service that consolidates cargo procured from multiple suppliers at the point of shipment and transports it by the container. By consolidating cargo, we can improve transportation efficiency, optimize ocean freight rates, and streamline shipping and logistics management, thereby contributing to cost reduction and increased visibility in overall procurement logistics.
Special Cargo Transportation
We specialise in the transport of special cargo, including oversized, long and irregularly shaped items, via sea freight. A team specializing in heavy goods selects the most suitable ship type, including RORO and conventional ships, and devises a transportation plan that fully considers safety and transportation conditions. We support secure and reliable transportation.
Refrigerated and Frozen Goods Transportation
We use reefer containers (refrigerated and frozen containers) to respond to international maritime transport of food, pharmaceuticals, chemicals and other cargo requiring temperature control. Temperature settings and monitoring are carried out according to transportation conditions, and optimal transportation arrangements are made according to cargo characteristics. We provide efficient and sustainable low-temperature and constant-temperature logistics centered on maritime transportation.
Dangerous Goods Transportation
We deal with the transport of dangerous goods by sea through reliable operation in compliance with international regulations. We have established a system that allows customers to rely on us for transportation of dangerous goods, which requires expertise including dealing with complicated regulations and managing documents.
Carbon Insetting
As a member of the MOL Group, we participate in "BLUE ACTION NET-ZERO ALLIANCE". The program is a system to allocate to our customers the environmental value of low-carbon voyages created by the use of alternative fuels on ships operated by the MOL Group as digital certificates. We contribute to reducing Scope 3 emissions for our customers without relying on physical transportation routes.
