End-to-End Global Transport for Heavy Machinery and Power Systems

Specialized heavy-lift and project cargo teams in each region provide end-to-end support from the planning stage through execution. Taking into account not only cargo weight, dimensions, and shape but also local infrastructure conditions and regulatory requirements, we develop highly feasible transport plans— selecting the optimal transport mode, including conventional vessels, and determining appropriate packing and handling conditions. Furthermore, by conducting advance assessment of legal frameworks and transport challenges at both origin and destination, we manage the entire process with a view toward customs clearance, inland transport, and on-site installation, thereby preventing unexpected changes and minimizing operational risks.  

We serve as a single point of contact, centralizing all transport arrangements— from surveys and planning to insurance, customs clearance, and port and onboard cargo handling. This significantly reduces the workload and  decision-making burden on our customers. Leveraging the global network of the MOL Group, we support project cargo movements not only from Japan but also worldwide. Working closely with our overseas offices, we provide comprehensive end-to-end support, including local on-site operations.

From a wide range of transport modes— including conventional and RORO vessels— we select the optimal option based on cargo characteristics, delivery requirements,  and local conditions. We provide end-to-end coordination, from vessel-type selection to vessel allocation and operational adjustments. By securing vessel space and enabling flexible vessel allocation arrangements through the global network of the MOL Group, we maintain high feasibility even during peak season or tight-deadline projects. Through transport design that fully considers cargo dimensions, weight, and cargo handling requirements, we eliminate backtracking risks such as "unable to load" or "unable to transport", ensuring a logistics framework that keeps projects moving without interruption.
