TOKYO-MOL Logistics (Japan) Co., Ltd. (President: Shuhei Togo) today announced that its subsidiary in Vietnam, MOL Logistics (Vietnam) Inc. will expand the Haiphong Logistics Center (Haiphong LC), which opened in northern Vietnam in January of this year. The work will start in mid-August, and when complete, the total floor area will be doubled to 12,000m2.
The Haiphong LC is a modern warehouse offering three functions: as a general warehouse, bonded warehouse, and CFS warehouse. It is situated next to the Dinh Vu Industrial Zone near Lach Huyen Port, with convenient connections to major transport networks in Haiphong and throughout northern Vietnam. Since its opening in January, the LC has earned high regard for its services, as it can meet various logistics needs-storing imported raw materials, finished products ready for export, and general warehousing services. MOL Logistics (Vietnam), therefore, decided to secure additional space to meet the needs of new customers moving into the region and satisfy increasing demand for warehousing among current customers, and double the Haiphong LC’s floor space to 12,000m2.
