Efforts to Reduce Greenhouse Gas (GHG)
Emissions Carbon Inset Program

As a member of the MOL Group, we participate in "BLUE ACTION NET-ZERO ALLIANCE", the Carbon Inset Book and Claim program provided across the Group.

The program is a system to allocate the environmental value of low-carbon voyages created by the use of alternative fuels on the MOL Group-operated ships to our customers as digital certificates. This makes it possible to achieve the reduction of Scope3 emissions associated with ocean transport without relying on physical transport routes.

Through this alliance, we are promoting

• the joint creation of low-carbon ocean transport services that utilize alternative fuels

• flexible responses according to the Scope3 reduction needs of shippers

• and decarbonization measures with high accountability and transparency through "visualization" of environmental values.

In addition to directly contributing to the reduction of Scope3 emissions of our customers utilizing ocean transport, we will steadily support the spread of alternative fuels and decarbonization of the entire shipping industry from the logistics front.
