TOKYO – MOL Logistics (Japan) Co., Ltd., (President: Toshifumi Kato) today announced that its subsidiary in China, Shanghai Huajia Int’l Freight Forwarding Co., Ltd. (Chief Executive Officer: Lui Chi-keung), has started operations at new branches in Chongqing and Wuhan branches.
Chongqing City is in the Eastern Sichuan basin of the upper Yangtze River. It shares a border with Henan and Hubei provinces in the east, Sichuan Province in the west, Guizhou Province in the south, and Shaanxi Province in the north, and covers an extensive area of 470km east-west and 450km south-north. Automobile and other industries are already established in the city. Recently, personal computer manufacturers have accelerated a move of their production centers into the city, which is positioned for even stronger growth in the future.
Wuhan City, the capital of Hubei Province, has also experienced rapid economic and commercial growth, along with the rest of the province and neighboring areas in Jiangxi, Anhui, and Henan provinces. Those areas are expected to see even more growth as more Japanese companies move in at an ever-faster pace.
MOL Logistics (Japan) continues to provide a wide range of customized services including inventory control, freight forwarding, and delivery to meet various customer needs in Chongqing and Wuhan.
