TOKYO- MOL Logistics (Japan) Co., Ltd. (President: Shuhei Togo; headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) today announced that it has signed an agency agreement with Dynamic Global Logistics (DGL; headquarters: Karachi) in Pakistan, following similar agreements in Oman and Sri Lanka.
Pakistan’s economy has rebounded thanks to expanding domestic demand and development of infrastructure related to the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), and it currently has a target of 6% annual economic growth. Manufacturers are moving to set up production bases in Pakistan, particularly for automobiles and motorcycles, and this capital investment is expected to fuel demand for logistics services including delivery and storage.

Following the opening of its Nairobi Branch in May 2017, an agency agreement in Oman in May 2018, establishment of a subsidiary in Sri Lanka in June 2018, the agency agreement with DGL allows MOL Logistics to more precisely meet various customers’ logistics needs in Pakistan. It also allows DGL to draw upon MOL Logistics’ global network.
