TOKYO – MOL Logistics (Japan) Co., Ltd., (President: Toshifumi Kato) today announced the opening of a subsidiary in Cambodia, which began operation on March 1.
Electronics, automotive and apparel companies from Japan, South Korea, China and other countries have stepped up their efforts to establish manufacture of labor-intensive products in Cambodia, which is drawing attention under the concept of “China + One” and “Thailand, Vietnam + One.” MOL Logistics (Japan) established its subsidiary, MOL Logistics (Cambodia) Co., Ltd., to expand its operating base since needs for logistics support has increased in Cambodia and the market is positioned for dramatic growth. The company will work to strengthen ties with its overseas networks to streamline the transport of cargo into and out of Cambodia, but also support production systems and logistics operations of the companies entering this exciting market. The new company will also take a proactive stance in the development of offshore trade.
MOL Logistics (Japan) works continually to meet its customers’ diversified logistics needs, improve services, and enhance its overseas network to support customer supply chains.
