MOL Logistics Co., Ltd. (“MLG”, President & CEO: Koichi Yashima, Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) and MOL Logistics Kyushu Co., Ltd. (“MLG Kyushu”,  President & CEO: Mitsuhiro Iwata, Headquarters: Fukuoka City, Fukuoka), its group company, announce that both company resolved at the board of directors meeting held today to carry out a merger with MLG as the surviving company and concluded a merger agreement.

1. Purpose of the Merger

 

In the changing environment where customer needs have become more diverse and sophisticated in recent years, MLG absorption of MLG Kyushu will improve the speed of management decision-making, enhance customer service, and improve operational efficiency in order to promote growth and expansion.

 

2. Outline of the Merger

 

（1）Method of Merger	Absorption-type Merger method in which MLG is the surviving company
（2）Effective Date	April 1, 2024 MOL Logistics Kyushu Branch has been established and will take over the entire structure of MLG Kyushu and continue to provide the same services (the address, e-mail address, telephone and fax numbers, etc. will remain unchanged).
